Telemedicine at Complete Wellness
Complete Wellness is thrilled to offer our clients secure video visits. While we love it when you visit us in the office, we understand that it's not always convenient to do so. Video visits allow you to receive the same quality care as you do in the clinic, without taking time off work, finding a parking place, or finding a sitter to see us.
Currently all prescribing nurse practitioners and counselors are available for scheduled video visits. If you have questions, see the information we've provided below. If you still have concerns, please call our office at 443-438-7863.
Privacy and Security
You are right to be concerned about the privacy and security of your confidential medical information. While today’s digital world offers a lot of convenience, there are risks. At Complete Wellness, our telemedicine solution is designed specifically to protect patient information and meet the strict standards of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, known as HIPAA for short.
Insurance Coverage
Maryland is one of the twenty-nine states that require private payers to cover video visits on par with how they cover in-office ones. Your video-visit appointment will cost you the same as an in-office appointment.
Be advised that some "self insured" programs may not cover telemedicine appointments. Be sure to contact your insurance carrier to confirm the coverage of telemedicine sessions and the requirements for coverage.
